Popular picture messaging application Snapchat just received more than $500 million in a new round of funding, according to Yahoo, however, is not revealing who its generous investors are currently. Despite the secrecy, the company is rumored to have accepted at least $200 million from ecommerce giant Alibaba (NYSE: BABA) , which promised that amount in October. Further, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel hinted at an IPO, however, did not release specific details about when the company might debut. Currently, the application is valued at $15 billion, Yahoo reported.
