Taylor Swift will officially stream her newest hit album, "1989," on Apple Music (NASDAQ: AAPL). The performer sent an open letter to the tech giant a few days ago, claiming the "free trial" period Apple offers to new customers of the streaming service does not fairly compensate artists. In response, Apple announced it will be paying artists during that period and Swift said she will now stream the album once the platform launches. “In case you’re wondering if this is some exclusive deal like you’ve seen Apple do with other artists, it’s not,” Swift tweeted, according to Bloomberg. “This is simply the first time it’s felt right in my gut to stream my album. Thank you, Apple, for your change of heart.” For more business and financial news, click here.
