Whole Foods (NASDAQ: WFM) has recently tried to shed the image of the "Whole Paycheck," meaning that if a customer wants to shop there for groceries, they better bring some cash, and a lot of it. However, a recent operation by New York City officials tested 80 Whole Foods items from the surrounding area's stores and found every one was misweighted and therefore overpriced. However, in accordance with store policy, customers are able to return any item that falls into this category, Business Insider reported. "Due to the ongoing nature of this matter, we have no further comment other than to say we disagree with the findings and we're vigorously defending ourselves against allegations to the contrary," Whole Food representative Michael Sinatra said.
