Teen brand Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF) and its younger brand Hollister will see some changes in their store policies, according to CNBC. In a memo sent to regional and district managers, executives explained the brand will no longer take physical appearance or body type into account during the hiring process. Further, the company will be changing the official titles of employees from “model” to “brand representative” CNBC reported. The signature “sexualized” bags from the stores will also be changed by the end of July. According to CNBC, this is part of a larger effort by the retailer to change its image, with shares down more than 40% over the past year.
