iOS (NASDAQ: AAPL) users could get a look at the newest software update as early as next month, according to CNet, with the iOS 9 set to debut at the Worldwide Developers Conference beginning June 8. The biggest changes will be to voice assistant Siri, which, with new competition from both Google Now and Cortana, needs a well-deserved revamp. Currently, Siri is set in a simple, black and white background. According to CNet, the Siri upgrade could be engineered aesthetically similar to Siri for Apple Watch, which incorporates more color. Further, according to some reported, other upgrades to iOS 9 will include more performance enhancing features, rather than appearance or user-function differences.
