A Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) employee was fired after she accused a customer of trying to steal a cookie straw. The loud incident was caught on video by an onlooker and ultimately went viral. The employee, identified as "Melissa," began yelling at customer Ruby Chen, after she ordered a Frappucino with a "special straw," according to HuffPost, and attempted to pay. "Melissa started to shout at me saying hey helloooo with very bad attitude," Chen wrote on YouTube. "Then she took the scanner away as I was trying to pay then told me to leave and never go back." Melissa has since been fired from Starbucks. "This customer's experience is not reflective of the service our partners provide to customers every day," Starbucks said. "Our leadership team is reaching out to the customer to apologize and make this right." Check out the video here:
