GoPro (NASDAQ: GPRO) seems to be switching gears slightly, launching a new platform form users to submit high-quality videos for the potential of commercial use. The service is designed to get both the user and GoPro cash, letting users license the content and buyers search through videos in a complex tagging system. However, the service is exclusively for high-quality content, giving GoPro the rights to decide which content is included or not. According to TechCrunch, both the users and media buyers must apple for access to the service before they can begin interacting. Currently, GoPro charges $1,000 per video for a six-month licensing contract. For more business and financial news, click here.
