TenXer, a software company headed by CEO Jeff Ma, has been acquired by Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) with intentions to shut the operation down, according to Tech Crunch. TenXer is formatted to help programmers work more efficiently together. “We will be shutting down TenXer and continuing our work within Twitter,” Ma said to Tech Crunch. “We are excited to apply what we’ve learned in the last three years to a world class engineering organization.” Ma explains he still has plans to work with Twitter in the future, however, not under TenXer, Tech Crunch reported. The deal was reportedly sign for less than $50 million.
