Volkswagen (XETRA: VOW) will soon be rolling out an application update specifically for the Apple Watch (NASDAQ: AAPL), according to Tech Crunch. The application, Car-Net, currently allows users to set up alerts if car windows are left open, control temperature settings and remember parking locations. However, the update for Apple Watch delves a little deeper. Geared toward parents of young drivers, users can set up to receive an alert if their Volkswagen exceeds a certain limit, Tech Crunch reported. Further, the application can also warn a parent if the drivers ventures out of a specific boundary. However, spying on teenage drivers isn't the only new feature the Car-Net application for Apple products will have. In order to simplify even further, the Volkswagen application will also let drivers with models beginning in 2016 open their car doors with the tap of a finger.
