Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) recently released the newest update to its accompanying Messenger app, according to The New York Times. Users can now seamlessly transfer from sending written messaging to video calling, making Messenger that much closer to encompassing almost all ways to communicate on just one platform. Other improvements to the Messenger app include a way for Facebook friends to sending money to each other, as well as voice calls, the NYT reported. Recently, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook voice calls account for 10% of the world's voice calls. Users in the United States can except to see changes in their Messenger application as early as Monday, with plans to update globally within the next few weeks, the NYT reported.
