RideWith, a new application built and operated by Waze, a real-time traffic sharing app bought out by Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) in 2013, began testing in Tel Aviv Monday, according to CNN Money. The service is a ride-sharing application which differs from Uber and Lyft, offering a maximum of two rides per day during primetime rush hour. According to CNN Money, the application allows users to find others in the area with similar commuting patterns in the hopes of splitting the ride fare for a cheaper price. The application is aimed at more suburban commuters going to and from work to split costs. "Waze regularly experiments with new ideas," Julie Mossler, the company's head of global communications, said according to CNN Money. For more business and financial news, click here.
