American Apparel (AMEX: APP) has been successfully granted a restraining order against Dov Charney, former CEO of the retailer, who was fired in December for allegedly letting nude photos of a former female employee leak online as well as misusing funds, according to Reuters. The same employee previously accused Charney of sexual harassment. The document prevents Charney from violating a former signed standstill agreement, forbidding him from attempting to remove American Apparel board members or make negative statements in the press, Reuters reported. American Apparel has been in the spotlight over the past few months, for the scandal surrounding Charney, selling controversial products and the sexual nature of its advertisements.
