Attention Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) lovers! A classic favorite will grace menus in select U.S. and Canada locations beginning this week. The Mocha Coconut Frappucino, which debuted on the menu in 2002, was an instant crowd pleaser. When the coffee giant eventually took the item off the menu shortly after, fans were disappointed and filed a petition on MyStarbucksInfo.com to bring the drink back, Delish reported. Starbucks brought the sugary treat back to the menu in 2011, however, took down again after a short amount of time. And now, in 2015, its finally back; albeit, until supplies last. With a name like Mocha Coconut, the beverage sounds more like a dessert than something thirst quenching and, according to the beverage’s nutrition facts, it is. A medium blended with whole milk boasts 62 grams of sugar at 420 calories. Using 2% milk, the beverage drops to 410 calories with the same amount of sugar and with skim, 400 calories. That’s enough calories to almost entirely substitute for a whole meal, with enough sugar to last three days. So, for your health’s sake, it’s probably best to treat Mocha Coconut Frappucinos for what they are: treats.
