IMAX (NYSE: IMAX) has renewed its agreement with Disney (NYSE: DIS), giving the large-screen viewing company rights to Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm and Marvel films, according to USA Today. IMAX shares increased 1.2 percent after the news broke, and Disney shares rose 1 percent, USA Today reported. “Our relationship with Disney has continued to strengthen after having released 25 films in IMAX theatres since 2009,” said IMAX CEO Richard L. Gelfond, according to USA Today. “The films in this new agreement promise to continue to provide IMAX audiences the highest-quality films available.”
